>    If you like boat shows, Annapolis has the best one in our opinion.  They hold the annual Strictly Sail show on the Columbus Day long weekend (Canada’s Thanks Giving weekend) and then the Power boat show the following week.  

>    It’s wise to get here early if you want to get a mooring ball close to the show.  The City moorings are available past the lift bridge in Spa Creek for $25/night with great protection from the winds and waves and close to where all the action is, but they go on a “first come first served” basis.

>    The dinghy dock is close by, or you can take a water taxi for $2.50/person (2010).
